Philippe Lefevre 🇬🇧🇫🇷


 Philippe is a young professional in Brussels, and leads MUNers Across Borders. With extensive MUN experience spanning multiple countries, he’s excited to work with a fantastic team to celebrate Model UN. He’s academically rooted in international politics and diplomacy and aims to establish World Model UN Day while empowering global youth voices.

 Tarik Saglam 🇹🇷🇨🇦  


Tarik is a Juris Doctor candidate at the University of Ottawa, concurrently pursuing a master’s in International Relations at ECNU. Beginning his Model UN journey in 2017 at Wuhan University, he went on to serve as WISMUN’s Secretary-General from 2019 to 2021. He has since engaged in over 30 Model UN conferences across eight countries.

Talia Goode 🇬🇧

 Deputy Director External Relations  

Talia With a background in studying languages, moved to Brussels to pursue a career in EU politics. There, she completed various internships in communications and advocacy. This professional experience led her to join the team, initially as a Social Media Officer. Today, she oversees all external relations, including communications and community outreach..

Nesma Amr  🇪🇬

 Deputy Director Financial Affairs

Nesma is a passionate advocate for youth empowerment and international relations awareness. Alongside her banking career and pursuit of a CFA holder certification, she amplifies young voices globally, aiming to bridge gaps and celebrate youth empowerment for a harmonious world.

 Yordan Gochev 🇧🇬

 Treasurer & Admin Officer

 Yordan is a Family Mentor at the International Rescue Committee and assists Afghan refugee integration. His background includes work as a Legal Assistant at the European Commission and Project Manager for EU-funded initiatives in education, democracy, governance, and human rights. He has diplomatic experience during the EU Council Presidency, specializing in CFSP and CSDP.

Lojien Altayeb 🇸🇩


Since 2019, Lojien has been actively promoting MUN, participating as a delegate, Chair, Secretariat member, and SecGen in various conferences. With a master’s in Journalism and Communication from Wuhan University, she now resides in Türkiye, passionately working with MUNers Across Borders to achieve its goals and visions.

Shay O’Connor 🇺🇲

 Programme Officer

Shay is a student at Haverford College, focusing on History and Education. Shay has been involved in MUN for the past 6 years, and has loved every moment! He started as a delegate at local and national conferences before teaching a MUN class in secondary school. Shay is looking forward to bringing his passion for MUN and connecting with MUNers from all over the world.

Joana Good da Silva 🇬🇧🇵🇹

 Programme Officer

Joana holds a Master’s degree in international relations and European Studies from the University of Évora and a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Territories, and Heritage from the University of Coimbra. Her international work experience along with her involvement in youth associations are strong assets for our team and organisation.

Aleksandar Ljubomirovic 🇷🇸


 Aleksandar is the Assistant to the President at CIRSD, a prominent think tank in Southeastern Europe. He’s also an International Secretary and Member of the Presidency of Serbia’s largest opposition party. With a background in Political Science, History, and Eastern European Studies, he has participated in over 20 MUNs worldwide, even serving as Secretary General twice.

Maria Reig Borrás 🇪🇸

Logistics Officer

Maria is a Logistics Data Analyst in Germany and holds a Bachelor’s in Industrial Management Engineering, specializing in Logistics. She’s currently pursuing a Master’s in Business, Product, and Service Management. With experience in Project Management and international programs, she’s also a dedicated volunteer bringing her belief in the importance of empowering younger generations to voice their opinion on global issues.

 Nourelhoda Hassanen 🇪🇬


Nourelhoda is a Teaching Assistant in Egypt and has engaged in various roles at MUN conferences by Cairo University and the World Youth Forum. Her diverse experience includes ESL coaching, HR coordination, and academic research. She’s an international advocate for youth development, with training from initiatives like Fora and the Grameen Creative Lab.

Soumya Arora 🇮🇳


Soumya is a first-year Law and Politics student in Ireland and has a global MUN involvement background. As the former President of her school’s MUN Society, she organized conferences, including a fundraiser for the Yemen Crisis and Indian Migrant Labor workers. She aspires to work with the UN’s legal departments and contribute to socio-political NGOs.

Alimat Babatunde🇮🇪


Alimat is currently a third-year law student at University College Dublin, passionate about human rights and policymaking. She has been active in the European Youth Parliament and Amnesty International. Her MUN journey began in 2021 at GrunnMUN, and since then, she has attended numerous MUNs, honing crucial diplomacy skills.

Ahmet is a master’s student at Friedrich Schiller University Jena, specializing in International Organisations and Crisis Management. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the Social Sciences University of Ankara. His international experience centers on Europe, with a focus on climate policies, democratization, sustainable development, and international organizations.

Sharon Low🇨🇦

 Community Officer

Sharon is a Master of Global Affairs graduate from the University of Toronto’s Munk School, and specialises in markets and innovation. She’s a Lupina fellow and Ontario graduate scholar, currently working at Deloitte in public sector consulting. Sharon’s MUN involvement spans over 25 conferences, and she enjoys coaching high school MUN and exploring farmer’s markets.

Berrak Özdemir🇹🇷

Berrak is an unyielding high school student, who defies age limitations with her impactful journey. With over 30 MUN conferences since 2019 under her belt starting from JMUN, she is one of the UNHCR young champions, committed to enhancing refugee lives.

Massi recently earned a Master’s Degree in Communication and Media. In the last couple of years, she has been able to work as a Television host on daytime TV, in Cameroon. After this, she pursued a career in corporate communication and has been able to work with different organizations in communications and social media management.

Hailing from Business Information Systems, Sara brings a unique blend of passions, from web design to fostering innovation for corporate growth. She is your go-to for creativity. In her free time, she indulges in reading, mastering handstands, and kayaking adventures.

Emre is a young professional in Brussels and a recent graduate of International Relations from Maastricht University. He comes from a military background and has taken a keen interest in communications and transatlantic studies through his time at University and beyond.


 Husayn Jamal🇨🇦

Legal Officer 

Husayn has been actively engaged in Model UN since 2016 and has experience with McMUN and CANIMUN. They now coach the University of Ottawa’s delegation team and have a legal background spanning the public and private sectors. In their role with MAB, he advise on legal, governance, compliance, and regulatory matters.

Ana-Maria Kvatashidze🇬🇪

 Development Coordinator

Ana-Maria is a dedicated individual passionate about diplomacy and international relations. My goal is to contribute to my country’s foreign relations and future generations. I’m a final-year international relations student, fluent in multiple languages, with experience in Japan, and Germany, and roles at MUNers Across Borders, STEAR, and AIESEC.

Tasha is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Toxicology at the University of Ottawa. She is currently one of the development officers for MUNERS Across Borders who passionately believes in the power of youth voices and the importance of empowering young leaders through Model United Nations.

Mariairene Fornari🇮🇹

 PROGRAMME and development OFFICER

Mariairene is completing her International Relations and Global Affairs degree in Milan while interning in Strategic Communication for a non-profit. Her internationalization passion grew through study abroad programs in Canada and the UK. With three years of experience, she aims to make MUN knowledge widely accessible.
